There’s Moose, Maverick, Madeline, Goonifer, Ethan, Stellan, and Viggo.
I named the ones in italics and my mom named the ones in bold. My brother named Ethan.
We don’t really have a whelping room set-up, so Aspen is in this big box with a very nice blanket and her puppies. Those suckers can move, though. There were five nursing and one had managed to get on the other side of the blanket in one corner and another in the other corner. They are so cute.
Now there’s Goonifer, Ethan, Madeline, Moose, and Luke. Madeline is our runt, Moose was first born(I wanted to keep calling him Boy A, but my brother didn’t like it), and Luke was named by my brother.
my brother’s name is luke…
Actually, Luke was just taken off the list. My brother forgot he named one Luke and I forgot which one was named Luke. So now it’s just Goonifer, Ethan, Madeline, and Moose.

He picked out a boy dog that looks just like our old Bull Mastiff, Stella. We wanted to name him Stellan, but my brother named him Ethan, after himself, instead. I picked out a girl with the same coloring as my Boston and I named her Gonnifer, or Goon for short. The rest are just being called Meerkats and Chipmunks for now.
Then she gave birth to number 7. Awesome.
6 puppies, oh my goodness!
We have almost tripled the number of dogs we had before today. They’re nursing now, too.
There are three right now, more might come.
She’s due in about two weeks. I can see the puppies kicking. It’s funny, because she’s gotten really clingy so I can’t go anywhere without her. She even tries to follow me into the bathroom. I’ve noticed that sometimes she’ll reach back and lick her belly, then attempt to sniff her crotch, but she can’t reach which makes her freak out. To solve this she just stands up, turns around, and sniffs where she had been sitting. It’s really funny.
She used to sleep in a cage in my mom’s room, but she kept waking my mom up so we moved the cage into my room. Aspen loves it and she goes right to her cage when she’s tired. Her real problem was that she does not like being confined to her cage and since I sleep with my door closed I can leave her cage door open so she can move around. she has also stopped eating all of my stuff. I am very proud of her.
